About
SR NET is a planned orbital constellation of 672 spacecraft being developed by SR Space to sustain global satellite broadband communications, Internet of Things services, and Internet access, with a particular focus on providing connectivity in remote and hard-to-reach areas of Russia, including the Arctic zone. A prototype spacecraft for the system was presented at the Aeronet 2035 exhibition in November 2022.
Target users include oil and gas production and geological exploration companies, telecom operators, and monitoring services for air, sea, river, land and rail transport in remote regions.
