About
ATLAS22 is a resettable substitute for space-qualified release actuators, designed for efficiency, ergonomics, and reliability in repeated ground-test campaigns. Testing and qualification of space mechanisms with release actuators is traditionally slow and costly, with single-use devices requiring refurbishment or expensive on-site resets; ATLAS22 is resettable in under 1 minute with supplied tooling. A space-rated flight variant, ATLAS ORBITAL, is planned for 2027.
