About
The piPATCH-AllBand-TC is a Space-Friendly, active, All-Band CubeSat GNSS antenna based on state-of-the-art ceramics, built for Tuna-Can deployer slots with a Z-face CubeSat mount. It is a top-notch, high-gain antenna with low noise, RF filters and a uniform hemispherical radiation pattern intended for Nadir/Zenith-oriented satellites, ensuring orientation towards the GNSS zenith. It simultaneously receives GPS L1, L2, L5; GLONASS G1, G2, G3; Galileo E1, E5a, E5b, E6; and BeiDou B1, B2a, B2b bands with SNR figures of 42-53+ dBc-Hz for close-to-zenith satellites, using an Active Input-to-Output RF path with lower and upper band gains better than +20 dB. The module measures 98×98 mm with a low profile and MCX-F connector, is powered from 2.7-5.5 V (3.3 V nominal @ ~30 mA) supplied over the RF coax, and is protected by SAW filters and EMI shielding. It fits all known CubeSat structures with Tuna-Can deployer slot options, and mounting hole positions can be modified free of charge on request. Available as Flight Model (FM), Engineering Model (EM, with red Remove-Before-Flight finish for EMI/EMC and SNR testing prior to launch), and OEM Flight Model (unmarked, no PCB logos).
