About
The pqADSB-NG is a next-generation PocketQube ADS-B air traffic control receiver based on freely available 1090ES squitters transmitted from aircraft. The next-generation RF chain features improved demodulator sensitivity, a telemetry engine, and a squitter counter with ASCII output via a serial UART channel, in a compact solution including an antenna array with no deployables. The standalone, dedicated RF chain requests only the energy necessary to monitor 1090 MHz ADS-B air traffic, with a non-deployable antenna array eliminating deployment failure risk. It supports civil downlink formats DF11 and DF17, with 56-bit and 112-bit extended squitters plus CRC filters.
