About
The RapidCube-6 is a compact 6U CubeSat platform developed by Rapid Cubes GmbH for IoT, in-orbit demonstration/validation (IOD/IOV), Earth observation, inter-satellite communication, and scientific applications. Built on the proven TUBiX10 heritage platform licensed from TU Berlin, the RapidCube-6 offers a failure-tolerant architecture with multi-band communications and flexible payload accommodation.
The platform features S-band telemetry/telecommand with 2 Mbps downlink and X-band data link capable of up to 100 Mbps. Attitude pointing accuracy of ±5° is achieved using an integrated ACS suite. The satellite is designed for a 2-year mission life in LEO orbits.
