About
The RapidCube-50 is a 50 kg class small satellite platform designed for high-performance Earth observation, IoT, and scientific missions requiring longer mission life and greater payload capability. The platform incorporates Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture and star tracker-based attitude control enabling pointing accuracy of ±0.5°.
The RapidCube-50 accommodates up to 20 kg of payload mass and provides 30–50 W average payload power with 60 W peak. Communications use S-band for telemetry/telecommand and X-band for high-speed data downlink. The 4-year design life is double that of the smaller RapidCube platforms.
