About

The QinetiQ Q40 MicroPNT is a compact multi-constellation, multi-frequency GNSS receiver designed for military and defence applications demanding resilient Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) in contested and GNSS-degraded environments. It handles dynamics up to 600 m/s, delivering timing accuracy of under 5 nanoseconds with advanced digital signal processing for anti-jamming and anti-spoofing protection, and Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM).

The Q40 MicroPNT is Non-ITAR and built from a UK-sovereign supply chain. It has been selected for the UK MOD’s £67 million Robust Global Navigation System (R-GNS) programme. Applications span C5ISR, dismounted soldier systems, land vehicles, and UAVs, and it is qualified to military temperature, shock, vibration, and EMC standards.
