Description
The QinetiQ Bracer is a ruggedised, beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) secure satellite push-to-talk (PTT) radio powered by the Iridium global satellite network. Weighing just 450g and rated IP66/IP67, it provides 100% global coverage including polar regions, delivering AES-256 / FIPS 140-2 Level 3 end-to-end encrypted voice communications and position reporting with approximately 500ms latency.
Bracer supports talkgroups covering areas from 100,000 km² to 2.5 million km² and integrates with ATAK/WinTAK situational awareness platforms. Applications include military operations, border protection, and emergency responders requiring communications in areas with no terrestrial network coverage.
