About
The SPUTNIX Baseboard SXC-MBB-03 can be used for development of payload and other systems compatible with the PC/104 bus. It holds an MCU with a CAN driver, which grants access to the satellite bus. The vacant area of the board is a 2.54 mm pitch breadboard where the user can place any needed components to enable payload sensors and other periphery. The board uses a proven schematic and layout that is 100% compatible with the original architecture and has flight verification; the board’s schematic is included when purchased. In addition to hardware, the MCU can optionally be fulfilled with SPUTNIX basic firmware, consisting of a binary bootloader with on-orbit firmware update capability and a set of source code files that can be customized by the user to integrate the payload’s main function into the satellite. Devices mounted on the board include: STM32L432KCU MCU; CAN driver; I2C temperature sensor; MRAM memory; power source for MCU and periphery with I2C current sensor; auxiliary power source for the 2.54mm area with I2C current sensor; auxiliary power switch for the 2.54mm area with I2C current sensor. The design and software documentation for this product is distributed by SPUTNIX in open-source format.
