About
The OVS-2 platform is an improved, sub-meter resolution video-imaging microsatellite design used for the OVS-2 and OVS-3 satellites of the Zhuhai-1 constellation. Flying in a 500 km sun-synchronous orbit, it delivers 0.9 m ground resolution with both multi-frame video capture and a wide image-scan mode. OVS-2 launched in April 2018 and OVS-3 launched in September 2019, both aboard CZ-11 rockets from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center alongside OHS hyperspectral satellites.
