About

OC (the onboard computer) is an assembly of 2 identical semi-sets in a single body. The OC board includes: a power system with a primary DC/DC isolated converter and secondary PDM converters; a radiation-resistant 32-bit microprocessor based on the SPARC v8 architecture Leon4FT core operating at 80 MHz as the main computing device, with 2 cores in hot standby, CAN interface controllers up to 1 Mbit/s, and 4 SpaceWire interface controller cores with built-in physical layer drivers up to 100 Mbit/s for information exchange with system devices; a 1 Mbit EEPROM storing the bootloader image, which performs initial peripheral initialization, self-testing, loads and transfers control to the main executable program, and provides software update algorithms without main-program involvement; 16 MB MRAM non-volatile memory for storing the main program image and other data; and 16 MB RAM for standard operational memory. It is SPUTNIX’s own development, ECSS-compatible, low cost, light weight, low power, uses Russian electronic components, and unified interfaces.
