About
The ISISPACE Modular Electrical Power System 2 (IMEPS2) is a second-generation Electrical Power Subsystem for small satellites. Built on a modular, distributed design, it enables unmatched adaptability, tailoring power solutions to any platform’s exact needs without full customization. With cutting-edge GaN-FET technology, IMEPS2 ensures superior efficiency, reduced EMI, and scalable redundancy.
The system consists of up to four modules: Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) with 4x MPPT channels (max 3A each, 39W per channel), Power Battery Pack (PBP) with 45 Wh lithium-ion storage at 8–16V, Power Battery Unit (PBU) for battery heating and balancing, and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with 12 configurable output channels.
Battery packs are stackable for additional storage and redundancy. The system communicates via I2C, UART, and optional SPI interfaces. IMEPS2 is compatible with 3U+ platforms and can be configured for missions requiring from tens to hundreds of watts of power.
