About
The ISISPACE VHF/UHF Antenna System 2 is a customizable antenna solution for CubeSats from 6U and up, as well as microsatellites. With versatile configurations including monopoles, dipoles, or 1x turnstile arrangements, it covers the full VHF to UHF frequency range (145–868 MHz).
The antenna system has a stowed footprint of 98 x 98 mm with a height that depends on the selected configuration. Mass ranges from 90 to 115 g depending on configuration. The system provides 0 dBi main beam gain with over 50 MHz bandwidth at UHF and over 10 MHz at VHF.
All antenna elements deploy in under 5 seconds via the integrated deployment system. Electrical interface uses a miniature 9-pin OMNETICS connector with I2C data communication. Compatible with commercial VHF/UHF radios up to 2 W RF power. Flight heritage since 2020.
