About

The ISISPACE Modular Deployment Sequencer (IMDS) offers precise satellite deployment sequencing through a dual-redundant system, effectively mitigating single-point risks. It signals deployer systems and deployer doors, ensures satellites deploy at preset times, collects separation confirmations, and relays this data back to the launch vehicle for mission assurance.

The IMDS supports a wide range of digital interfaces including analog breakwire, RS485, RS422, USART, CAN Bus, and Ethernet. It is scalable in mass from ~1 kg (4 deployers, external power) to ~2 kg (8 deployers, internal power), with a modular design allowing configuration to mission requirements.

The activation pulse system features a purely resistive load with galvanic isolation to internal circuitry, a serial switch across two parallel 10 Ohm resistors (2 W rated), and current-limited to prevent damage. The system meets EMI/EMC standards per launch vehicle payload user guides.
