About
ARQUIMEA offers complete turnkey thermal and structural subassemblies for spacecraft applications where tight thermal management is critical to mission performance. The company combines its proprietary technologies — structural panels, mechanisms, heat pipes, loop heat pipes, thermal switches, and thermal hardware — into integrated architectures with multiple radiators and multiple condensers tailored to each mission’s thermal and structural budget.
Deliverable subsystems include Optical Telecommunications Laser Terminal Thermal Systems, Spacecraft Modular Thermal Platforms, Thermal Control Switches, Thermal Systems for Low Noise Amplifiers, and Advanced Control Loop systems with multi-evaporator and multi-condenser hybrid LHPs. These architectures are capable of managing heat loads from cryogenic applications (such as JWST cryogenic blankets down to 20 K) up to high-temperature environments (+450°C).
ARQUIMEA provides end-to-end engineering: thermal and mechanical analysis, simulation, manufacturing, integration, and testing, all within its own facilities. The company has worked on 10 subsystem units currently in orbit and 18 more waiting to be launched, across major programs including MetOp-SG, Sentinel 2, MTG, ExoMars, Hispasat 1E, EDRS-A, and SpainSat NG.
