About
ARQUIMEA provides imaging and camera acquisition and processing systems for space through its partnership with Ecliptic, a space avionics and sensor company in Pasadena, CA, with over 20 years of flight heritage. The product line is based on a modular or slice-based architecture that enables reuse of proven, flight-heritage modules with interchangeable configurations of sensors, host interfaces, and processing features.
The Single Camera Video System can be configured to cover a wide range of imaging spectra: visible (SD, Full HD, 4K), Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR), Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR), Visible Near-Infrared (VNIR), Cooled Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR), multispectral, hyperspectral, spectrometers, and Star Tracker modes. The Multi-Camera Digital Video System (DVS) supports 8 or more cameras in a single solution, with an optional sandbox for customer-specific processing algorithms (including AI-driven applications).
All systems are space-qualified and have participated in reference missions including the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, Artemis (NASA’s crewed lunar return program), and a wide range of orbital missions. More than 500 cameras have been launched across over 75 successful missions.
