About
Designed for testing spacecraft transceiver paths, building antenna patterns, testing electromagnetic compatibility of devices, and other purposes; operates from 200 MHz to 45 GHz. The SPUTNIX chamber has a modular design flexibly adaptable in size per customer, with on-site assembly so components fit through standard building doorways. Frame made of structural aluminum profile; screen made of 2mm aluminum sheet attached to the frame every 100mm, with copper wire mesh at joints and a conductive seal on the doorway for shielding efficiency/durability. Bolted (glue-free) modular construction allows unlimited disassembly/reassembly. Uses pyramidal and flat radio-absorbing material (RAM) made of porous polyurethane foam with embedded carbon particles, mounted on Velcro-attached plastic panels, allowing flexible RAM reconfiguration. Modification options: custom camera size and frequency ranges, ferrite/hybrid absorber version for low frequencies, semi-anechoic configuration, shielded ventilation, shielded power/signal filters, video surveillance, rotary test table, measuring spiral antenna, custom control/measuring equipment.
