About
3D PLUS Space Radiation Tolerant SDRAM provides high-performance volatile memory solutions tailored to the demanding requirements of space applications. Available in capacities ranging from 512 Mb to 4 Gb with versatile data bus widths (x8b, x16b, x32b, x40b, x64b), these modules offer high-density and high-speed data transfer at up to 133 MT/s on a 3.3V supply.
The 3D stacking technology delivers more than 85% reduction in design footprint compared to conventional discrete implementations, making these modules ideal for size, weight, and power (SWaP) constrained space platforms. Packages include SOP, BGA, and QFP options for flexible PCB integration.
Radiation performance includes total ionizing dose tolerance greater than 50 krad(Si), SEL LETth greater than 80 MeV.cm²/mg, and SEU LETth of 7 MeV.cm²/mg (σsat = 2E-10 cm²/bit). The operating temperature range spans -40°C to +105°C, covering all typical orbital environments.
With flight heritage since 2003, these SDRAM modules have been validated in scientific missions, Earth observation satellites, and navigation spacecraft. Mission lifespans of 15–18 years have been demonstrated, confirming long-term reliability in the space radiation environment.
