About

3D PLUS Space Radiation Tolerant NOR Flash offers state-of-the-art non-volatile storage optimized for space applications. Available in densities from 64 Mb to 2 Gb with x8 or x16 asynchronous parallel interface on a 3.3V supply, these high-density modules feature a zero bad block guarantee and 20-year data retention, making them ideal for code storage and mission-critical data.

All modules are housed in compact SOP packages (SOP 54, SOP 56, SOP 60) for SMT assembly and withstand the harsh thermal and mechanical conditions of space. Access times range from 90 to 110 ns depending on density. Operating temperature spans -55°C to +125°C.

Radiation characterization includes TID tolerance greater than 20 krad(Si), SEL LETth greater than 51.2 MeV.cm²/mg, and SEU LETth greater than 10 MeV.cm²/mg (σsat = 1E-11 cm²/bit). The low SEU cross-section makes these devices particularly suitable for boot-code storage where SEU-induced errors must be minimized.

Flight heritage spans more than 15 years including the MSL Curiosity Rover, InSight Mars Lander, Mars 2020 Perseverance, and the Emirates Mars Mission Hope Probe. Part numbers range from 3DFO64M16VS1281 (64 Mb) to 3DFO2G16VS4214 (2 Gb).
