About

3D PLUS Space Radiation Tolerant EEPROM provides electrically erasable and programmable non-volatile storage with on-board and in-orbit programming capabilities, making them ideal for storing mission-critical parameters and configuration data that may need updating during flight. Capacities range from 1 Mb to 8 Mb in compact SOP 40 and SOP 60 packages.

The devices support 3.3V or 5.0V supply voltages with data bus widths of x8b, x32b, and x40b. Access time is 250 ns, endurance is 10,000 write/erase cycles, and data retention is guaranteed for 10 years. Originally released in 2003, these modules serve as Boot and Program ROM in high-performance space computer boards.

Radiation characterization includes TID tolerance of greater than 80 krad(Si) for read operations and greater than 25 krad(Si) for write operations. SEL LETth exceeds 80 MeV.cm²/mg. Operating temperature is -55°C to +125°C.

Flight heritage spans missions including ExoMars 2016, Chang’e 5, Chandrayaan-3, and Orion Artemis, demonstrating broad applicability across both robotic and human spaceflight programs. Part numbers include 3DEE1M08VS1192 through 3DEE8M32VS8094.
