About

The 3D PLUS RTIMS Flash (Radiation Tolerant Intelligent Memory Stack) is a user-friendly, high-density NAND Flash solution with an embedded Flash Memory Controller (FMC) and built-in radiation protection. It operates as standard NAND Flash with any processor or FPGA featuring a native NAND interface, and can function as a standalone local data recorder without external controller support.

Available in capacities of 24 Gb (3DSS24G08VS3626), 48 Gb (3DSS48G08VS3772), and 64 Gb (3DSS64G08US2818), all in compact SOP 38 or SOP 52 packages. The embedded FMC implements TMR or EDAC error correction, providing SEU protection at the hardware level without processor overhead. The device is inherently immune to SET and high-current SEFI by design.

TID tolerance exceeds 50 krad(Si), SEL LETth exceeds 62.5 MeV.cm²/mg, and program/erase endurance reaches 100,000 cycles with 10-year data retention. Operating temperature spans -40°C to +85°C for the 24 Gb and 48 Gb variants and -55°C to +105°C for the 64 Gb high-performance model.

Data throughput ranges from 75–99 Mb/s write and 274–1029 Mb/s read depending on the variant, making RTIMS Flash suitable for high-bandwidth applications including science data recorders and onboard mass storage on micro- and nanosatellite platforms.
