3 Axis Attitude Control (Cyber Reaction Wheel)
Compact, cube-shaped reaction wheel with integrated electronics for single- and multi-axis attitude control of pico/nano satellites.
Description
S4's 3-axis attitude control system uses redundant reaction wheels with specially developed control algorithms for low power consumption, delivering miniature precision 3-axis attitude control within pico-satellite resource constraints. Co-developed with Wittenstein cyber motor, the reaction wheel's cube shape with integrated electronic control allows flexible configuration and space-saving multi-axis assemblies. It is provided with vacuum-rated bearings and radiation-tolerant components up to 200 Gy, is USB configurable, supports I2C, SPI and UART compatible interfaces, and includes software-assisted failure recovery.
