About HawkEye 360

HawkEye 360, Inc. was founded in 2015 by Chris DeMay, Charles Clancy, and Bob McGwier to pioneer the commercial collection and geolocation of radio frequency signals from space. Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, the company built and operates clusters of small satellites flying in tight formation, using proprietary time-difference-of-arrival and frequency-difference-of-arrival techniques to precisely locate RF emitters anywhere on Earth. In December 2018 HawkEye 360 launched its first satellite trio, known as Pathfinder, as part of Spaceflight's SSO-A rideshare mission, proving out commercial RF geolocation from orbit and paving the way for its operational Hawk-series constellation.

Today HawkEye 360's constellation of more than thirty satellites, orbiting roughly 500 km above Earth in clusters of three, collects RF signal data continuously and feeds it through a cloud-based ground segment and AI-powered analytics pipeline. The company delivers this signals intelligence as a data-as-a-service offering to defense, intelligence, and national security customers, with mission-focused product suites spanning maritime intelligence (dark vessel detection), spectrum monitoring, GNSS interference and jamming detection, communications mapping, and air defense radar monitoring.

HawkEye 360 has continued to expand its space and ground architecture through successive satellite generations - Pathfinder, Hawk, and the newer Kestrel cluster - while broadening frequency coverage, geolocation accuracy, and analytic capability. The company went public on the NYSE (ticker HAWK) in 2026 and continues to grow its customer base among U.S. government and allied defense and intelligence organizations, as well as commercial maritime and spectrum-management users.
