About
The Xen-Node is Xenesis’s ground-segment counterpart to the Xen-Hub space terminal. It combines an electronic/photonic modem module, an EDFA optical amplifier module, and a high-precision Dall-Kirkham telescope mounted on an optical bench, together with a 10 GbE Ethernet interface unit for network handoff.
The ground station is designed to support full-duplex optical links and is intended to operate in daylight as well as at night, a key requirement for building out a globally distributed network of ground stations that can maintain near-continuous contact with a growing satellite fleet.
