About
The Flamingo satellites produce images of the star background and space objects of interest, both recorded as streaks in each frame. Vyoma’s Payload Data Processing recognizes both types of streaks, associates targets across images, performs astrometric reduction, and produces unassociated Tracking Data Messages (TDMs). A time-series approach enables Vyoma to generate data points with subpixel accuracy. Parallel implementations of classical and machine-learning based detection methods further increase sensitivity and allow processing of imagery on-the-edge, directly on the satellite.
