About
VANTAGESun is a sun sensor from Voyager Technologies’ VANTAGE product family used for initial spacecraft orientation. It is American-sourced and manufactured, supports attitude determination during launch-vehicle separation, initial attitude acquisition and emergency/off-nominal recovery modes, and is designed to be low-cost and low-mass while drawing no operating power. It is offered in Coarse, Medium and 120-degree full-angle circular field-of-view variants. Related products in the same family include VANTAGEStar and VANTAGECam.
