About
Viewpoint is a multi-purpose imaging satellite in design by SpaceFab, with many structural and optical components built using SpaceFab’s own omni-material 3D printer. Designed for quick and easy image tasking, it addresses multiple markets including Earth observation, Space Domain Awareness and astronomy, using a modified Dall-Kirkham telescope design with multiple high-resolution visible/NIR/UV cameras and a hyperspectral imager. A 50 cm diameter primary mirror, advanced optics and low orbital altitude provide a native resolution of 40 cm for both color and panchromatic Earth imaging.
