About
VACCO produces flight-qualified, high-performance Wintec-brand metal mesh filters, providing absolute filtration for critical fluid applications since 1964. Constructed from porous stainless-steel and titanium micronic woven cloth, these filters use a patented edge-encapsulation process to ensure precision cleanliness. Primary applications include cryogenic, propellant liquid and pressurant gas filtration on launch vehicles, spacecraft, missiles and ground support test equipment. A VACCO Wintec metal mesh filter assembly is installed in the propulsion pressurant system of the Lockheed Martin A2100 commercial communications satellite bus to remove micron-sized particulate.
