About
The iX5 is Unibap’s compact onboard computer optimized for power, mass, and size, aimed at smaller spacecraft or operations in harsher environments. It combines heterogeneous CPU/GPU/VPU processing with machine-learning capability and a broad set of interfaces for camera, sensor, and payload integration. The iX5 is space-proven, having flown on five missions with more than 1,000 cumulative operational days in orbit since its first flight in 2021. It is rated TRL 9 and qualified for vibration, shock, outgassing, and thermal-vacuum environments, and is in serial production.
