The U7780 is an advanced enterprise and cellular backhaul (CBH) satellite modem providing high-performance traffic optimization and unparalleled value for service providers and mobile network operators (MNOs). It uses a rack-mount form factor for easy integration into telco cabinets and leverages a state-of-the-art software-defined architecture together with an embedded single-board computer. Operating with a DVB-S2X forward link and MF-TDMA return link, it delivers up to 100Mbps download and 12.5Mbps upload, with packet processing up to 50K PPS across layer-2 and layer-3 traffic. Optional features include L2/L3 header-compression, payload-compression, GTP/GRE acceleration, and encryption.
