PC-based architecture (Windows OS) ground units with an FPGA-based PCI board executing hardware coding/decoding algorithms and a user-friendly, intuitive HMI. TM ground equipment functions include Viterbi decoding, NRZ-M to NRZ-L decoding, pseudo de-randomizing, Reed-Solomon decoding, frame synchronization and CCSDS frame decoding/TM source packet reassembly. TC ground equipment functions include CCSDS TC encoding, COP-1 procedures and TC authentication layer.
