About
CENTAURI+ is Transcelestial’s next-generation free-space optical terminal built for the AI-workload era, offering bandwidth-on-demand: links start at 25 Gbps and can be upgraded to 40 Gbps via a simple software update, with no new hardware or procurement cycle required. It integrates Layer 2/3 networking directly into the terminal — including VLAN and QoS support — removing the need for additional switches and reducing networking costs.
The terminal is over 70% smaller than traditional RF antennas, reducing tower rental and footprint costs, and includes advanced Forward Error Correction (FEC) that dramatically improves availability and bit-error-rate in fog, rain and thermal shimmer. Zero-touch channel bonding enables instant automatic failover with any RF device or fiber-optic link, supporting up to 99.999% hybrid availability across distances and weather conditions. CENTAURI+ is also built with next-generation, quantum-safe encryption on its roadmap.
