About Transcelestial

Transcelestial is a Singapore-based deep-tech company founded in 2016 by Rohit Jha (CEO) and Dr. Mohammad Danesh, developing free-space optical (laser) communication systems that deliver fiber-grade connectivity without physical cables. Its CENTAURI product line — including CENTAURI (1/10 Gbps), CENTAURI 25G and the software-upgradeable CENTAURI+ (25-40 Gbps) — provides point-to-point wireless links over distances from 200 m to 3 km and beyond, using patented AI-based tracking and telemetry to keep the laser beam locked on target through rain, fog and vibration.

Beyond terrestrial backhaul and last-mile connectivity, Transcelestial is extending its laser-communication heritage into space. Through its TMOGS (Transportable Optical Ground Station) platform, the company has demonstrated error-free acquisition and tracking of downlink lasercomms from LEO satellites from sites in Singapore and Spain, and is working with Singapore's OSTIn and ST Engineering on the country's first inter-satellite laser communications mission. In 2026 Transcelestial also signed an agreement with Antaris to advance persistent ISR and optical communications architecture in LEO.

The company has raised over US$10 million in Series A funding and has deployed demonstration and commercial links for telcos, ISPs, mobile operators and enterprises across Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, Indonesia, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong and Mongolia, working with partners including Mavenir, NTT Indonesia, Taiwan Mobile, Telkomsel, TM, Chunghwa Telecom and UTS Tech Lab.
