About
Space INSPIRE (INstant SPace In-orbit REconfiguration) is Thales Alenia Space’s compact, fully digitalized telecom satellite product line, developed with support from CNES, the French Programme d’Investissements d’Avenir, and ESA’s ARTES programs. A high-capacity digital processor dynamically reshapes the frequency spectrum and reallocates power in real time, while an active steerable antenna array lets operators instantly change coverage footprints, rebalance capacity between commercial and government demand, and deploy dedicated spot beams to counter localized interference. Missions built on the platform include Eutelsat’s JSAT-31 and JSAT-32/Horizons-4 satellites and Es’hailSat/Türksat’s software-defined Eshail-3/Türksat-Biruni satellite.
