About
GAMASAR is TEKEVER’s synthetic aperture radar (SAR) payload for both unmanned aerial vehicles and satellite platforms. It provides cloud-penetrating, light-independent imaging capability that delivers consistent data regardless of weather or lighting conditions — critical for security, environmental monitoring, emergency response, and persistent surveillance missions.
The system is designed to be highly compact and power-efficient, making it suitable for integration into small satellite platforms and medium-altitude UAS. In 2026, TEKEVER was selected by CNES and DGA to deliver the active SAR antenna for France’s DESIR sovereign SAR satellite programme — a testament to GAMASAR’s institutional-grade performance credentials.
GAMASAR’s modular design allows it to be configured for different resolutions, swath widths, and polarization modes depending on mission requirements. It supports both stripmap and spotlight imaging modes, and its ITAR-free design makes it available to international customers for a wide range of civil and defence applications.
