GAMALINK Inter-Satellite Link Radio
Software-defined S-band radio for inter-satellite links with ranging accuracy better than 50 cm. Flight-proven on ESA Hera.
Description
GAMALINK is TEKEVER's software-defined inter-satellite link (ISL) radio designed for both ground-to-satellite and satellite-to-satellite communications. It provides precise ranging with accuracy better than 50 cm, enabling formation flying, proximity operations, and coordinated multi-satellite missions.
The system is ITAR-free and designed to meet the demanding requirements of both commercial NewSpace and institutional missions. GAMALINK flew on ESA's Hera asteroid mission — the European Space Agency's planetary defence mission to the Didymos-Dimorphos binary asteroid system — demonstrating its technology readiness at TRL 9.
Key features include a compact software-defined architecture allowing field updates, low power consumption suitable for small satellite platforms, and robust performance in the challenging RF environment of deep space and LEO operations. GAMALINK supports standardized communication protocols and can be configured for a range of mission profiles including proximity operations, constellation management, and deep space communications.
