On customer request, GA-Synopta develops special metrology and control systems for industrial or scientific use, including optical test systems for automatic measurement of point spread function, focal length, distortion, magnification and spectral transmission; Differential Image Motion Measurement (DIMM) systems for atmospheric turbulence characterization; control systems for climatic chambers; electronic autocollimators; motor test beds; test beds for calibration of beam pointing and stabilization systems; and control/evaluation software, for example for meteorological stations or LiDAR aerosol/cloud-height profiling.
