About
Starcloud-2 is planned as Starcloud’s first commercial orbital data center mission, building directly on the technical validation achieved by the Starcloud-1 demonstration satellite. Targeted for deployment around 2027, Starcloud-2 is intended to offer GPU-based AI compute capacity as a commercial service, leveraging space-based solar power generation and radiative cooling to serve AI workloads at a scale and cost point competitive with terrestrial data centers constrained by grid power and cooling infrastructure limits.
