About
YCIS (Your Code In Space) is Australia’s first program enabling developers, researchers, hobbyists and students to upload and run custom code on Spiral Blue’s SE-1 computers in orbit. The platform democratises access to onboard AI processing of satellite imagery, removing the need to own or operate a satellite. Users can develop and test AI workloads that run on Spiral Blue’s in-orbit edge computers, with processed results returned without downlinking raw data. KaleidEO used YCIS to become the first Indian company to demonstrate edge computing in space.
