About
The nanoSSOC A60 (Nano Sun Sensor on a Chip) is a two-axis, low-cost sun sensor for high-accuracy sun-tracking, pointing and attitude determination in nanosatellite platforms. Based on MEMS fabrication processes, it achieves a highly integrated sensing structure in an extremely compact and lightweight package. The device measures the incident angle of sunlight in two orthogonal axes; sensitivity is based on the geometrical dimensions of the MEMS design. The nanoSSOC A60 outputs a continuous analog signal and is characterized by tiny size, low weight and minimal power consumption, making it the ideal ADCS sensing solution for CubeSats and nanosatellites. Both flight and engineering models are available.
