About
Corvus-BC, also known as Landmapper-BC, is a 6U XL CubeSat earth observation bus providing 22-meter resolution 3-band (red, green, near-infrared) imaging with Ka-band downlink and a 5-year design life. The Landmapper-BC program has flown multiple units: BC1 and BC2 failed at launch in 2017, BC3 was lost later that year, BC3v2 succeeded in January 2018 on a PSLV-XL, and BC4 succeeded in December 2018 on a Falcon 9, giving the bus a mixed but ultimately flight-proven track record for multispectral land-imaging missions.
