About

The X-TR-DL-78 is a compact X-band SATCOM transceiver developed by Arralis, providing a complete transmit and receive solution for military satellite communications and space payload applications. The transmit path operates at 8-8.5 GHz and the receive path at 7-7.5 GHz, both using a 10 MHz LO reference and supporting IF frequencies of 200-700 MHz.

The transmitter delivers 1 W (30 dBm) linear output power and up to 2 W (33 dBm) saturated power, with 30 dB conversion gain and phase noise performance of -123 to -80 dBc/Hz. The receive path achieves 30 dB conversion gain with an industry-leading noise figure of 1.8 dB, enabling reception of weak satellite signals with high sensitivity. Spurious content is suppressed to -60 dBc.

Powered by a wide-range supply of 12-36 VDC (TX) or 6-42 VDC (RX) and operating across -40C to +70C, the module is qualified for both commercial and space-grade environments. The compact 96x91x33 mm aluminum enclosure weighs less than 1 kg and uses SMA connectors for TX/RX RF ports and SMPM edge-mount connectors for IF. It is designed for X-band satellite ground terminals, smallsat payloads, and defense communications systems.
