About
The UDC300 is a fully integrated standalone uplink transceiver module designed for K/Ka-band communications systems. It operates as a wideband up/down converter suitable for both ground segment and airborne environments, offering up to 2.5 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth – significantly broader than most competing solutions – for high-throughput LEO satellite applications.
The module incorporates an on-board frequency synthesizer and high-precision LO clock that can serve as a reference for cascaded modules or lock to an external system reference, providing design flexibility for complex multi-channel ground station architectures. Its stackable enclosure enables modular system builds where multiple UDC300 units can be combined to form multi-channel or multi-beam ground terminals.
With TX covering 27-30 GHz (uplink) and RX covering 17-21 GHz (downlink), IF ports of 1-4 GHz (TX) and 1-5 GHz (RX), and output power exceeding 20 dBm, the UDC300 can be used standalone or combined with a modem or SDR to implement full-function K/Ka-band satellite communication for LEO constellation ground networks and airborne SATCOM platforms.
