About
The TR400 is a highly sophisticated, fully integrated transceiver module for Ka-band satellite communications, functioning as a wideband up/down converter compatible with modems or Software Defined Radios (SDRs). It provides broad frequency coverage with TX at 17.3-20.7 GHz and RX at 27.5-30.5 GHz, supporting up to 250 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth for high-throughput data links.
Precise frequency adjustments are made through two independently programmable local oscillators, giving system designers the agility needed for frequency-hopping and multi-satellite operations. The module maintains reliable operation across extreme temperatures from -40C to +85C, backed by high-precision oscillators for frequency stability.
Housed in a robust aluminum enclosure, the TR400 is designed for ground terminals, airborne platforms, and satellite payloads requiring compact, versatile Ka-band RF front-ends. Its IF interface (0.4-2 GHz on both TX and RX) is directly compatible with commercial satellite modems and SDR platforms, enabling rapid system integration for LEO mega-constellation ground networks, high-speed IoT backhaul, and 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) applications.
