About
The Scorpio star tracker is designed for SmallSats and CubeSats requiring high reliability and radiation tolerance. It offers arc second range pointing accuracy with custom algorithms optimized for accuracy, robustness, and low computational cost. The star tracker has a built-in baffle to reduce stray light effects and is compact and easy to interface. The electronics are designed for high radiation tolerance, making Scorpio suitable for demanding mission environments. It achieves a cross-boresight accuracy of 2″ (1σ) and around-boresight accuracy of 10″ (1σ), communicates via RS485, and has a mass of 450 g.
