About
The AIS-ILIS0-DEMO is a DIY educational ionic liquid electrospray thruster kit, enabling hands-on exploration of electrospray propulsion technology. Using EMI-Im (1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide) as the ionic liquid propellant, the kit operates at less than 1W of power to produce approximately 1uN of thrust. At only 44x40x16mm, the system is one of the most compact electrospray thruster demonstrations available. Designed for academic, student, and research use, the ILIS0-DEMO leverages the same technology basis as the flight-class AIS-ILIS0. Status: IN DEVELOPMENT.
