About
ACT’s Honeycomb Radiator Panels combine precision thermal control with structural load-bearing capability in an ultra-low-mass package. These panels function simultaneously as spacecraft structural shells and heat rejection surfaces, eliminating the mass penalty of separate structural and thermal elements.
The panels employ aluminum honeycomb sandwich core construction with high-conductivity face sheets and can incorporate embedded CCHPs for enhanced lateral heat spreading. Surface emissivity is tailored through selectable coatings to maximize radiative heat rejection for specific orbit environments. ACT supports scalable designs from CubeSat-class radiators to large GEO satellite bus panels.
