About

ZAPHOD is AAC Clyde Space’s family of CubeSat structures available in standard 1U, 2U, 3U, 6U, 12U, and 16U configurations. Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum (6061-T6), the structures provide high structural integrity and are designed to meet deployer interface standards (ISIS, Nanoracks, etc.). Features include integrated mounting points for standard CubeSat PCBs, deployable panel attachment points, and compatible rail dimensions. The modular design allows straightforward component integration and is available with optional surface finish treatments including anodizing and chromate conversion. The structure has been used on numerous AAC Clyde Space missions with TRL 9 flight heritage.
