About

The SS200 is a miniature sun sensor from AAC Hyperion designed for CubeSat attitude determination. It detects the sun vector relative to the sensor frame using photodiode arrays, providing coarse attitude information for sun-pointing modes, detumbling, and safe-mode operations. Multiple SS200 units are typically mounted on satellite faces to provide full-sphere coverage.
