About
The AAC SpaceQuest TRX-U is a compact, high-performance UHF transceiver designed specifically for CubeSat and SmallSat satellite missions. It provides a complete RF communications solution for low data-rate TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking, and Command) links in the UHF frequency band.
UHF is the primary band for CubeSat TT&C due to its established ground segment infrastructure, license availability, and good propagation characteristics. The TRX-U integrates seamlessly with AAC SpaceQuest’s ANT-100 whip antenna for a complete UHF communications subsystem.
With extensive flight heritage from AAC SpaceQuest satellite missions, the TRX-U is a proven, reliable solution for primary satellite communications. Its compact form factor and low power consumption ensure it fits within the tight mass, volume, and power budgets of CubeSat platforms.
